Our Business

Community Counseling was founded in 2007 in response to the need for preventive mental health services and training that would be affordable to those living in Metropolitan New York communities.  Although there may be many qualified providers, many of them are not able to outreach the community about the services available.  Community Counseling was developed to bridge the gap by linking qualified providers to members of the community needing mental health services.

The clinicians of Community Counseling are committed to providing quality mental health servics that are easily accessible and affordable.  We believe that mental health is something that should be supported, not only during times of crisis, but also as a continuous process for those who strive for a balanced lifestyle.  It is the mission of Community Counseling to establish linkages between mental health providers and members of the community by:

• providing clinicians with the tools to develop and market quality community mental health services
• providing consumers with the tools to easily access mental health services
